Petco Love Invests in Lifesaving Work of Concho Valley PAWS

Concho Valley PAWS announced today that the organization was awarded a $90,000 grant investment from the newly named, Petco Love, to support their lifesaving work for animals in San Angelo.

Petco Love, formerly the Petco Foundation, is a nonprofit leading change for pets nationally by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since its founding in 1999 as the Petco Foundation, they’ve empowered organizations with nearly $300 million invested to date in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. And, they’ve helped find loving homes for more than 6.5 million pets in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations, like
ours, nationwide.

“Today Petco Love announces an investment in Concho Valley PAWS and hundreds of other organizations as part of our commitment to create a future in which no pet is unnecessarily euthanized,” said Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love. “Our local investments are only one component. This month, we will also launch the first of our national tools to empower all animal lovers to drive lifesaving change right alongside us.”

“Concho Valley PAWS is grateful and honored to be entrusted with this investment from Petco Love. These grant monies will allow us to save more lives by providing adoption􀆟on preparatory care such as spay
and neuter services and emergency medical care for sick and injured animals so that treatable illness and injury do not prohibit adoption.

Concho Valley PAWS is a nonprofit organization helping local pets and their people. Concho Valley PAWS provides high-volume adoption programs for homeless shelter pets, quality and trusted transport
services for adoption placement out of state, low-cost spay and neuter programs, and education and support services for pet parents.
